Lord Naoshige

'' If one has no vigour and spirit, one cannot thrust a spear properly. If one only feels prim and proper about everything, one's heart gets constricted and one cannot work like a man. One has to feel stretched taut like a drawn bow, and at times one has to talk in a grandiloquent way - then one can fulfil the work of a bushi.'' Nabeshima Naoshige in the art of the samurai (Hagakure) from Yamamoto Tsunetomo's translated to English by Barry D. Steben and rented from aikidoka Barry :)

Seize the day

The earth rotating to the sun and again away from the sun, night and light. There is enough time between this rotation to the sun and away from the sun to fulfill one's happiness or one's experience. ( though I think that everyone wants to be happy to feel loved and give it )

Don't use you're time in doing something you don't like, but use it in something you enjoy doing. When something needs to be done and you're not enjoying it simply change the way you think about it, see what it can bring to you if you do it, see the jolly in it.

Carpe diem, mine friend, carpe diem.

To amount to nothing

To amount to nothing, the feeling that you wasted another day without bringing joy to your surroundings and to yourself, especially to yourself. Yet in this self pity we become blind to see that we did make somebody or something happy but we decided not to feel happy.

Somewhere subconscious there is something that says to us, at least in mine mind, that if we didn't do anything for the human race, making somebody smile, making somebody feel respected/loved or something else, we wasted the day. But most of the time it's this other part, maybe the ego maybe mine conscious mind, that says hey dude you didn't do shit today, you're not living you're dying; that is holding us up on seeing that we did contributed something today. The truth is quite the opposite you contributed something wonderful this day to this world, what? You created yourself a new today, with that you made this process of life complete for another one second and with that you brought joy to your soul because the soul wants to experience life. That's the reason we come here. Or is it?

Question it yourself.

If

If I got more time I will be much better at all the things I do.
If mine body would be stronger I could carry a car with one hand.
If I was rich I didn't have to worry I would be a lot happier and I could buy all the things I want to.
If I could draw and animate perfectly, I would make drawings and shows that people would laugh their ass of at and enjoying the wonder of it.
If I....................

Etcetera if if if if, in place of thinking, if I got this or that, we can better invest our energy in practicing those things so that we can have that!

Besides it will be better to focus on the things we have or what we want.

Time and wasting it

Time, the thing we can not control and the thing most of mankind is wasting. We can't turn back time but do we want to turn back time? Cause if you didn't do this or that you wouldn't be the person you are today.

Example: If I continued playing tennis I may be the best tennis player of the world but maybe mine personality would be hated or something else. But I wouldn't be the person of today.

So in place of being angry of the time we wasted do it good in the future but what is good in this sentence? Does it mean like the tennis example train every day 5 hours and thou shall be good or must we do something we can enjoy like computer gaming/sleeping or a mix of both.

In the end it will all come down to the mind and what we think about it, if we think we're growing we're growing(if the right action and feelings are applied).

Release the future like releasing a pen, plan for the future to know where your boat is going(What if you don't have an idea where you're going*) and focus in the now cause here is where all the magnificent things happen.

*If you just release your boat you might find a treasure or you might fall of the edge of the world. But there are more edges of the world then there are treasures, or at least in normal human minds.

Questions

Is it necessary to ask questions?

What do we get when we ask questions, clarity or more confusion?
Can we live better when we ask questions? Or is it just time consuming?
Do we need to question even the simplest of things, like the wind blowing, but is this something simple? You can say the wind blows because there is pressure difference, alright but how comes there is a difference in pressure? Because of the mass and collisions of gas molecules, alright how come the gas molecules got mass and speed? Simple said it got energy, alright how do we know it got energy? Can we look through a microscope and see energy or is it something we discover indirect just because it is there? Or was there somebody in history who thought:
''Hey HUH how come it got mass, how come the wind blows, how can we see something? Hmmm, let's call it energy: the amount of work that a force can perform.''

Alright you will probably ask yourself now what the hell is he babbling about, what got sight to do with energy? It got nothing to do with force or does it?

In Star Wars they will say may the force be with you, but what does force mean? In physics:
''A force is any agent that causes a change in motion of a free body, or that causes stress in a fixed body.'' Right from wikipedia. But this got nothing to do with Star Wars or does it? Question it.

But if we say everything is energy and mass is energy compressed, does that mean we can just make out of nothing something, because of the energy we got? That will be awesome, let's put it to the test. Hmm I still got no mass, snap no fender stratocaster. Did you have any luck?
Why did I fail, was the focus not enough? Was the energy not enough? Am I conditioned (more over this in a later post) or is it just nonsense what I am talking about here? Question it.

Is it necessary to ask questions? I believe that it is, okay not necessary but it sure comes in handy, because you begin to think about life you begin to see how things work or you become more confused, probably in the beginning you will be like: HUH, what the heck, HUH?!? But after a while you will see that you can remember things better, that you understand things better. As you question life your life will become better. You begin to question the smallest of things like why is mine right shoulder more stressed out than the left shoulder and the next step is then to observe and do something about or just go the lazy mens way and do nothing, your choice!

In mine experience I have noticed that mine life really improved when I began to ask questions and take actions, yes it can be time consuming but you get so much more back!
